About the event

Please be invited to a evening workshop, where we will present an overview of fixed income investments in the current market.

Our speakers represent SQN Secured Income Fund, an LSE listed direct lending business and the SQN Secured Loan Fund, a Dublin domiciled institutional fund.

Experts will provide a macro overview of the fixed income market, explain investors' approaches to various types of bonds, and give examples of particular London Stock Exchange traded opportunities to invest in fixed income instruments.

Speakers
Dawn Kendall
Dawn Kendall manages the SQN Secured Income Fund, an LSE listed direct lending business and the SQN Secured Loan Fund, a Dublin domiciled institutional fund.
She has 33 years' experience in the international investment industry gained across a number of senior roles in asset management and investment banking, including positions at SG Warburg, Newton Investment Management, AXA and Investec Wealth. Prior to SQN, she was a partner at TwentyFour Asset Management where she sat on the executive committee, was responsible for CLO investments and the firm's risk committee. Ms. Kendall has specific expertise in fixed income, derivatives, alternative and investment trust investments. Ms. Kendall has a degree in Law and earned her MBA in 2004, both from the Open University. She is on the board and an adviser to CityHive, the diversity network for the finance industry and member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, a City Guild.
Jeremaih Silkowski
Jeremaih Silkowski is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of SQN Capital Management and its group of companies. SQN Capital Management (SQN) is a multinational alternative investment manager specializing in collateralized, non-correlated, income-producing investments.
Mr. Silkowski has recently been named one of the "50 Most Influential People in Asset Finance" by Leasing Life magazine. He began his investment career at the largest private equipment fund manager in the US, where he held various positions culminating with Senior Vice President of Operations and Head of Portfolio Management. He was responsible for all day to day operations of eight public equipment leasing funds and two equipment lease securitizations with over US$1 billion of assets under management. In 2005, Mr. Silkowski formed SQN Capital Corporation to provide asset-backed and lease-based financing to multiple under-served market sectors, particularly in the oil field services industry. Today the SQN group of companies includes four specialist fund management companies with 9 active public and private funds under management in three regions (the UK, US, and Middle East) with funds domiciled in the UK, US, Channel Islands, and Cayman Islands. Mr. Silkowski also served as Chief Executive Officer of the SEC registered and FINRA member broker-dealer SQN Securities LLC until that entity was sold in 2017. He graduated from New York University with a degree in Economics and holds Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
